Overview
The Penn Museum at the University of Pennsylvania in University City is one of the world's great archaeology and anthropology museums, with more than 1.3 million artifacts. It was founded in 1887 after an expedition to Nippur in Iraq, and its Arts and Crafts building is a campus landmark.
