The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) on 53rd Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues in Midtown is one of the largest and most influential modern art museums in the world, with more than 150,000 works plus about 22,000 films. Its collection covers painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, architecture and design, with masterpieces by Matisse, Picasso, Mondrian, Duchamp, Magritte, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Edward Hopper, and Van Gogh's The Starry Night. Its library holds about 300,000 books and catalogs.
