The Brandywine Falls is one of the most iconic natural landmarks in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, drawing visitors year-round to witness its powerful 60-foot cascade. Carved by Brandywine Creek, the falls tumble over layers of Berea Sandstone and Cleveland Shale, creating a striking geological display. A boardwalk and viewing platform offer easy access to the falls, while the Brandywine Gorge Loop trail invites hikers to explore the surrounding forest and creek-level terrain. Seasonal changes bring new beauty to the site—from spring’s rushing waters and vibrant greenery to winter’s frozen spectacle of ice formations.

Due to its popularity, parking at the falls can be limited, especially between 10am and 4pm. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early or hike in from the Boston Mill Visitor Center. The trail is moderately challenging, with stairs and uneven surfaces, but rewards hikers with scenic views and peaceful woodland paths. Leashed pets are welcome on the trail but not permitted on the boardwalk for safety reasons. Whether you're a photographer, hiker, or casual visitor, Brandywine Falls offers a breathtaking glimpse into the natural and geological history of the region.
