How to Get There

From Denver (72 mi): Take I-70 west from Denver through the mountains, exit at Frisco (Exit 201 or 203), and follow signs into downtown and Main Street.

Overview

Frisco is a Summit County town on the shore of Lake Dillon, founded in 1873 and incorporated in 1880 during the Colorado Silver Boom, named for San Francisco. It is popular with skiers for its access to four ski resorts (Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin), with a Main Street of shops and restaurants and the Frisco Adventure Park (tubing hill, a marina, and disc golf). A paved bike path runs to Breckenridge and around the lake.
