How to Get There
From Frisco (8 mi): Take I-70 west from Frisco, use exit 195 for Copper Mountain, then follow Copper Mountain Dr into the resort village and parking areas.
Overview
Copper Mountain is a ski resort about 75 miles west of Denver on I-70, eight miles south of Frisco, known for naturally separated terrain, with beginner runs on one side, intermediates in the middle, and experts on the other. Three villages hold lodging, dining, and shops (East Village, Center Village, and West Village). The Eagles Nest Wilderness is just to the north, with hiking on the Gore Range Trail and Wheeler Lakes Trail across the highway.
