How to Get There
From Moab (18 mi): Drive north on US-191, turn right onto Arches Entrance Road, follow the scenic drive to the Windows Section turnoff, and continue to the Double Arch parking area at the end of the spur road.
Overview
Double Arch is a pothole arch, formed by water erosion from above rather than from the side like most of the park's arches, two massive spans joined at one end, with the larger reaching about 112 feet high and 144 feet across. A half-mile round trip path from the parking area leads to it, and you can walk under the arches and scramble up. It appears briefly in the opening of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
