From Taos (about 40 mi): Drive south on US-285 for roughly 45–50 minutes. The resort (and Round Barn) will be visible near the highway in Ojo Caliente.
Overview
The Round Barn at Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs was built in 1924 and is the only adobe round barn in the U.S., a 65-foot, two-story building with a domed double-pitch roof and hexagonal cupola. It was restored in 2002 and listed on the National Register in 2003. Nearby, the mineral springs resort has soaking pools fed by four kinds of water.
