Overview
Fairmount Park is Philadelphia's largest municipal park and the historic name for a group of parks across the city, about 2,052 acres in East Park and West Park divided by the Schuylkill River. It includes the former Lemon Hill and Sedgeley estates, the Philadelphia Zoo, and the Centennial Exposition grounds, and the paved Schuylkill River Trail runs along Kelly Drive in East Park.
