Overview

The Plaza Hotel is a luxury hotel and condominium on Grand Army Plaza between 58th Street and Central Park South, a 21-story French Renaissance château-style building designed by Henry Janeway Hardenbergh with a marble base, white brick, and a mansard roof. It is a New York icon with famous guests and ballrooms, and one of the city's most popular film locations, from North by Northwest to Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
