Overview

Guardsman Pass is a paved mountain road of nearly 9,700 feet that connects Big Cottonwood Canyon with Park City and Heber Valley, with big views, aspen groves that turn golden in late September, and hiking and mountain-biking trails. It is open only in the warmer months (typically late May to October) and is popular for snowshoeing when closed in winter.
