Overview

Crissy Field is a restored former Army airfield and tidal marsh in the Presidio, now part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, with a mile-long promenade, a beach and a wetland along San Francisco Bay, with classic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Popular for walking, cycling, windsurfing and kiteboarding, it has the Crissy Field Center, the Warming Hut café and a Fort Point trailhead.
