Drive west on I-10, exit at S La Brea Avenue, turn left onto Stocker Street, then right onto La Cienega Boulevard; entrance is on the left.
Overview
Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area is a 401-acre park in the Baldwin Hills, sometimes called “L.A.’s Central Park,” with hiking trails, a Japanese garden, a lake, picnic areas and sweeping views from the Hollywood Sign and downtown skyline to the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Bay. It was established in 1984 and is one of the city’s best free viewpoints.
