Overview
Historic Endview is a preserved 1769 Georgian-style home that was the home of Dr. Humphrey Harwood Curtis and served as a Confederate hospital and later Union headquarters during the Peninsula Campaign. Guided tours cover 400 years of family history, 19th-century medicine, and the property's military role.
The grounds have a medicinal herb garden, a nature trail, and original outbuildings, and seasonal events and reenactments run through the year. Newport News Historic Services operates the site.
