Overview
Lee & Gordon's Mills is one of Georgia's oldest gristmills, first built in 1836 on Chickamauga Creek and rebuilt after a fire in 1867. It was a strategic crossing and headquarters for both armies during the Battle of Chickamauga. The restored mill now serves as an event venue and historical site.
The site houses the Veterans of All Wars Museum with artifacts honoring American military service, and rustic buildings and a flowing creek fill the grounds.
