Overview
Wolfeboro is a resort town on Lake Winnipesaukee that calls itself "The Oldest Summer Resort in America." It has been a summer colony for families from Boston and southern New Hampshire, and its guests have included Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco and Kurt Vonnegut. It has a village of shops on the lake, lake cruises, and 50-acre Wentworth State Park on Lake Wentworth.
