How to Get There
From Philadelphia (33 mi): Take I-95 N to Exit 51 for Taylorsville Rd toward Yardley. Follow Taylorsville Rd north for about 4 miles, then turn left onto River Rd to reach the park entrance.
Overview
Washington Crossing Historic Park preserves the site where George Washington led his troops across the icy Delaware River on Christmas night 1776, a daring maneuver before the victory at Trenton. The 500-acre park has a historic village with the McConkey Ferry Inn and the Thompson-Neely House, and Bowman's Hill Tower with panoramic views. Reenactments, guided tours, and living-history events run seasonally, and trails and picnic areas are open.
