Overview
Pennsbury Manor on the Delaware River is a reconstruction of William Penn's country estate, his home and administrative center in the late 17th century. Research and archaeology guided the rebuilding of the manor house, outbuildings, gardens, and working farm. Costumed interpreters and craft, farming, and cooking demonstrations explain colonial life, including the experiences of settlers, Indigenous peoples, and enslaved people.
