Overview

Penn Station is the busiest transportation hub in the U.S., beneath Madison Square Garden, serving Amtrak, NJ Transit, the Long Island Rail Road, and the subway. The original 1910 Beaux-Arts station was demolished and rebuilt in the 1960s; the adjacent Moynihan Train Hall has restored some architectural grandeur and improved passenger flow.
