Overview
The Frick Collection is an art museum in the Upper East Side mansion of industrialist Henry Clay Frick, opened to the public in 1935. It shows Renaissance to 19th-century masterpieces in richly decorated period rooms rather than large galleries, so you see the paintings much as they were originally enjoyed.
