Overview
Manhattan's Chinatown in Lower Manhattan, bordering the Lower East Side, Little Italy, Civic Center, and Tribeca, is one of the oldest Chinese enclaves and home to an estimated 90,000 to 100,000 people, the highest concentration of Chinese people in the Western Hemisphere. It is a lively area for dim sum, markets, bakeries, and shops, one of nine Chinatowns in the city.
