Laboratory Complex: Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm
Glenmont Estate: Friday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm (with ticket)
Closed Monday and Tuesday, and on major holidays

Fees:

Ages 16 and older: $15 (valid for 7 days)
Children 15 and under: Free
Annual Pass: $45 (includes cardholder and 3 guests)
Glenmont House Tour: $1 reservation fee via Recreation.gov

From Newark, NJ (5 mi): Take I-280 West to Exit 10; turn right onto Northfield Avenue, then left onto Main Street to reach the visitor center entrance.

Overview

Thomas Edison National Historical Park in West Orange preserves the laboratories where Edison developed the phonograph, the electric light system, and the motion picture camera, plus his Glenmont estate. It became a national historical park in 2009 and holds more than 400,000 artifacts and 5 million documents, among the most complete historic collections in the National Park Service.
