Overview

The B&O Railroad Museum at the birthplace of American railroading holds the most comprehensive collection of railroad artifacts in the Western Hemisphere, with historic locomotives, passenger cars, and freight equipment in the iconic 1884 Roundhouse. Interactive exhibits, seasonal train rides, guided tours, and exhibits such as "From Slavery to Civil Rights" round out a visit.
