The Strat Hotel, Casino and SkyPod (formerly the Stratosphere) is at the north end of the Strip, with a 1,149-foot observation tower, the tallest freestanding observation tower in the U.S. It has an indoor and outdoor observation deck, a revolving restaurant, and thrill rides on top: the Big Shot, X-Scream, and the Skyjump, a controlled 855-foot jump.
