How to Get There

From Las Vegas Strip (5 mi): Take Las Vegas Blvd N toward downtown; museum is located just north of Fremont Street near Cashman Center.

Overview

The Neon Museum is an outdoor museum of retired Las Vegas signs on 2.62 acres along Las Vegas Boulevard, in the "Neon Boneyard," where the Young Electric Sign Company once stored old signs. It was founded in the 1990s after the Sands sign was scrapped, and it began charging admission on October 27, 2012. Its lobby is the restored shell of the La Concha Motel, moved four miles north in 2005. Signs come from the Stardust, Riviera, Desert Inn, Caesars Palace, and others. Visit at dusk or on a night tour, when the signs are lit, and reserve tickets ahead.
