Overview
Bridalveil Fall is a 620-foot waterfall at the entrance to Yosemite Valley, usually the first big waterfall visitors see, with a short paved trail. It thunders in spring and drifts in wind in late summer, and when misty, it produces rainbows. Winds sway the water into a light veil. Bridalveil Creek is fed by Ostrander Lake, and the trail may close for rockfall or construction.
