Overview

Melrose Avenue is a trendy Los Angeles shopping and dining corridor running from Santa Monica Boulevard near West Hollywood to Silver Lake, best known for the Melrose District between Fairfax and Highland Avenue, with vintage stores, boutiques, street art, restaurants and the famed Paramount Studios gate. It was the center of L.A.’s punk and new-wave fashion scene in the 1980s.
