Overview
The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens in San Marino is a research institution and cultural center created by railroad magnate Henry Huntington and his wife Arabella, with a Gutenberg Bible, Shakespeare folios, and 18th–19th-century European art including Gainsborough’s The Blue Boy. Its 130 acres of themed gardens include the Japanese, Chinese and Desert gardens and rose garden, and a tea room. It is a full-day visit, and timed tickets are recommended.
