The Aquarium of the Pacific on Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach is one of the country’s largest aquariums, with more than 11,000 animals from over 500 species and about 1.5 million visitors a year. Its galleries cover Southern California and Baja, the Northern Pacific and the Tropical Pacific, and the aquarium is near Shoreline Village and the Queen Mary.
