From Los Angeles, CA (10 mi): Take I-10 W to Pacific Coast Highway (CA-1 N), continue north for approximately 4 miles; the beach entrance is on the left near Temescal Canyon Road.
Overview
Will Rogers State Beach is a 1.75-mile stretch of sand in Pacific Palisades on Santa Monica Bay, with volleyball courts, a playground, surfing and a bike path that runs 19 miles along the South Bay Bicycle Trail. The beach is named for the actor Will Rogers, who developed a ranch here, and was a location for Baywatch.
