From South Entrance (16 miles): Head north on US-191 N/US-26 E/US-89 N. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on US-191 N/US-26 E/US-89 N. Turn left onto Teton Park Rd. Keep right to stay on Teton Park Rd. Turn left.
Overview
Jenny Lake is a glacial lake about 256 feet deep, formed about 12,000 years ago behind a terminal moraine at the mouth of Cascade Canyon. Along with Jackson Lake, it is one of only two lakes in the park that allow motorboats, and scenic boat tours and a shuttle across the lake are available. It is the starting point for many day and overnight hikes.
