Overview
Winthrop in the Methow Valley, east of the North Cascades, is a town themed on the American Old West, with wooden boardwalks and false-front buildings from the 1970s redevelopment. It has shops, restaurants, a saloon, and a museum, and offers hiking, rafting, mountain biking, and, in winter, one of the largest cross-country ski trail networks in North America.
