From Multnomah Falls Lodge (1 mi): Travel west on the Historic Columbia River Highway to the Wahkeena Falls parking area and trailhead, then follow the paved path and stone bridge to the waterfall.

Overview

Wahkeena Falls is a 242-foot cascading waterfall in the Columbia River Gorge, on the Historic Columbia River Highway about a mile west of Multnomah Falls and 13 miles east of Troutdale. Instead of one big drop, it slides down the rock in a lacy flow. A 0.2-mile paved trail from the parking lot leads to a stone bridge at the base (the Wahkeena Creek Bridge, a National Register structure), and a longer trail climbs to Multnomah Falls.
