How to Get There
From Ketchum, ID (63 mi): Head north on ID-75 over Galena Summit to Stanley, then turn west onto Stanley Lake Road and follow it to the lake.
Overview
Stanley Lake is about seven miles west of Stanley, reached by a three-mile spur road off Highway 21, below the 9,860-foot McGown Peak and just south of Elk Peak. It has three campgrounds, a day-use area, a boat launch, and hiking trails, and Lady Face Falls is two miles upstream on Stanley Lake Creek.
