How to Get There

From Lincoln, NH (7 mi): Take I‑93 North to Exit 32, turn onto NH‑112 West, and follow the road approximately six miles until the signed entrance appears on the right.

Overview

Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves in Kinsman Notch, five miles west of North Woodstock on Route 112, is a 157-acre reservation owned by the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. The brook vanishes beneath huge granite blocks in a narrow glacial gorge and then resurfaces. A three-quarter-mile boardwalk with stairs runs along the gorge to caves that can be walked or crawled into. Admission is charged.
