Overview

The Witch House (the Jonathan Corwin House) is the only structure still standing in Salem with direct ties to the 1692 witch trials. It was the home of Judge Jonathan Corwin, who served on the Court of Oyer and Terminer, which sent 19 people to the gallows. It has been restored as a 17th-century house museum run by the City of Salem and is open seasonally.
