Overview
The Paul Revere House in the North End, built about 1680, is the oldest house in downtown Boston and was Paul Revere's home from 1770 to 1800. It is a National Historic Landmark (1961) and a Freedom Trail stop, run as a museum by the Paul Revere Memorial Association. About 90 percent of the structure is original after a 1907 restoration.
Highlights
- Pierce-Hichborn House: a brick Georgian house from about 1711 next door, also open as a museum
- Education center: a visitor center opened in December 2016 with Revere's craftsmanship and silver work
